Healthy Relationships Group
How you treat other people has everything to do with the love and success you enjoy in life. Called people skills, soft skills, or emotional or relationship intelligence, possessing these skills at a high level often means the difference between getting what you want (date, job, etc.) and not.
Healthy relationship skills grease the wheels of human interaction. Healthy Relationships Group is a unique personal and professional development group where you can learn to improve your relationship and communication skills. The group helps you learn meaningful ways to get along better with both intimate and professional partners.
Learn how to get what you need without being either submissive or overbearing. Gain perspective about ‘Why people do what they.’ And learn how you can respond in ways that promote a successful interaction and a successful relationship.
Here are just some of the skills you will learn about and practice:
- Improving your ability to be assertive,
- Managing your anger,
- Improving your listening skills
- Becoming better at negotiating and collaborating.
- Increasing your ability to manage your own feelings and reactions.
Use the group to get feedback on how you come across. Practice developing the successful healthy relationship skills that will earn you love, respect, appreciation and cooperation with others.
The Healthy Relationships Group meets Tuesdays 6:15-7:45pm at the Cambridge office of Collaborative Psychotherapy.
